Three different promises
| Your goal | Use | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Avoid the immediately previous pick | Adaptive No repeat | Free; a temporary restriction on the next draw. |
| Take a local winner out yourself | Remove this round / Remove first-ring pick | Free; explicit removal with an undo control. |
| Give each entry at most one award | Each entry can win once per hosted activity | Pro host; Physical, Classic or Adaptive single-ring activities. |
Set up a win-once activity
- Open Workspace and prepare the roster in Physical, Classic or Adaptive.
- Before creating the activity, check Each entry can win once per hosted activity.
- Create the hosted activity, review registrations and run the next round.
- Watch the eligible count. Previous winners stay in the results but leave the next-draw pool.

One entry is not always one person
Two entries called Sam are two tickets, even if their labels match. Each can win once. If your promise is one prize per person, clean and review the roster before the activity; a label alone does not verify identity.
An approved late registration adds a new eligible entry. A pending registration does not. Rejecting and re-approving an already winning entry does not erase its recorded win.
When the pool is empty
The host’s Spin next round button is disabled when there are no eligible entries. The display keeps the last result visible and states that the next-round count is zero.
Export the results before moving on. Duplicate activity starts a fresh event with the base roster and the same repeat rule, but without the old results or guest registrations. The original history remains in its original activity.

Common questions
Is Adaptive No repeat the same as win-once hosting?
No. Adaptive No repeat rests the last pick for the next draw. The optional Pro hosted rule excludes a winning entry for the whole activity. It does not apply to Fate’s multi-ring combinations.

Export the results. You can approve a genuinely new registration or duplicate the activity to start a fresh session. The copy keeps the base roster and repeat rule; guests must register again and previous results stay with the original.
