YOU’LL LEAVE WITH

A reusable multi-ring game whose current state you can explain.

Build rings in Workspace

Give every ring one job

Keep each list independent: a person, a challenge, a place or a twist. Two well-chosen rings often make a clearer game than four crowded ones. Agree on comfortable activities and let people skip a suggestion.

  1. In Workspace, choose Fate rings from Mode.
  2. Name the first ring and enter its options. Choose Add ring for the next list, up to four rings.
  3. Import a CSV into an individual ring if helpful; it replaces that ring only.
  4. Export project to keep the whole setup, then choose Open wheel.

ManualWork with selected rings instead of treating the combination as one undifferentiated list.

Read the current state between rounds

Locks, unlocks, swaps and other Fate actions can change the next combination. Review Layers and History before continuing, particularly after trying an evolution control.

A first-ring removal applies to that picked entry, not every matching label in every ring. The activity-level single-ring win-once option is deliberately not offered for Fate. Do not promise that a whole combination can never recur.

Keep your game easy to reuse

  1. Use meaningful ring names so another host can understand the setup.
  2. Keep a project export before experimenting with new rules or lists.
  3. Reopen the saved project and check all ring names, weights and locks before the next session.

Common questions

Can I import a CSV without replacing every Fate ring?

Yes. Use the CSV control inside the intended Workspace ring, or select the intended ring in Layers. Check the preview before replacing it. Switching rings during a preview requires choosing the file again.

Can Fate use the hosted win-once switch?

No. That switch is limited to single-ring Physical, Classic and Adaptive activities. Fate has separate ring state and result actions; inspect those before each round.
